Our first Christmas while traveling full time. We had already enjoyed a fun couple of days in the snow earlier in December, now all the girls needed was a visit from Santa.
While we didn't have a lot of room, the girls still loved shopping for and decorating our tiny tree. There's just something about being in the mountains in the winter that really makes it feel like Christmas.
Santa loves his milk and cookies! Yes, Santa does! Decorating skills are improving, I'm sure next year they will be even more delicious. The girls love any opportunity to paint sugar icing onto things, and don't forget the sprinkles. There is nothing wrong with sugar cookies, with sugar icing, topped with sugar sprinkles. #santacookies
While this was our first Christmas away from a 'traditional' home, this was truly the most fun we have had yet on a Christmas morning. It's so much fun now that Piper is big enough to tear into her own wrapping paper, and the joy on these little faces makes everything worth it. We may be sacrificing space and some creature comforts for this lifestyle, but we certainly are making up for it with great experiences and time with these two precious little girls.
Merry Christmas!
