Gulf State Park - Gulf Shores Beach, Alabama

Updated: Aug 19, 2018

A beautiful unplanned mid-February trip to the beach, visiting family, playing in the sand, chasing birds, and escaping the cold of the mountains.

The Gulf State Park campground is awesome and only a short hike to the beach.

These girls really do love the sand.

We broke away for an afternoon to visit with the girls aunt Clare in Perdido Key, Florida. It is great that this traveling lifestyle has already allowed us to visit more than we could before.

We always enjoy swimming, and our girls love playing in the sand.

The walk from the Gulf State Park campground to the beach is beautiful and we even managed to spot an alligator.

The girls always have a blast visiting their grand parents.

About Us

We are Seth & Laura and this is our story of why we decided to rewrite our life as we travel with our 2 little girls. We aren’t entirely sure where the story is going, but we do know it is an adventure tale filled with campfires, moonlit nights, animal encounters of all shapes and sizes, and lots of fun. Perhaps our story will inspire you to tear up your life’s manuscript and live out some of your own dreams, but at a minimum, if you have found this site, we hope it brings a little joy to your day.
