Bald Mountain with Grandma and Granddaddy

While our girls were enjoying a visit from my parents, also know as Grandma and Granddaddy, we decided more blueberries were needed. Having really enjoyed a previous hike up Bald Mountain on a very overcast day, we were glad to make another visit for the views on such a pretty afternoon.

The sights in all directions were well worth the hike back up the mountain but our main goal was to enjoy more blueberry picking, and today's visit didn't disappoint. Even after enjoying another fresh blueberry cobbler followed by blueberry pancakes the next morning, we still sent Grandma and Granddaddy home with a gallon and a half of fresh Maine blueberries in their little freezer. They also discovered that their sweet dog Kypp really enjoyed collecting her own blueberry snacks straight from the bush.

About Us

We are Seth & Laura and this is our story of why we decided to rewrite our life as we travel with our 2 little girls. We aren’t entirely sure where the story is going, but we do know it is an adventure tale filled with campfires, moonlit nights, animal encounters of all shapes and sizes, and lots of fun. Perhaps our story will inspire you to tear up your life’s manuscript and live out some of your own dreams, but at a minimum, if you have found this site, we hope it brings a little joy to your day.
